Who we are

Watkins Digital is operated by Cody Watkins and provides custom website development, automation, and software services for businesses.

Information you provide

When you contact Watkins Digital or request a quote, you may provide your name, business name, email, phone number, current website, business type, requested services, project details, budget, and other information you choose to share. Please do not include passwords, payment-card details, or other sensitive information in a general inquiry.

The website form only reports success when a configured delivery endpoint accepts the request. When delivery is unavailable, the form displays an error rather than confirming receipt. Information you choose to enter may still be accessible to your browser or the hosting environment.

Referral submissions

Referral forms collect the referrer’s name, email, phone and preferred reward method, the referred contact’s business/name, email, phone and optional website, notes, and confirmations of permission and agreement to the referral rules. Share contact details only with permission. We use these details to assess the introduction, contact the business, verify eligibility and arrange any qualifying reward. Details are delivered privately through our email provider; confirmation emails contain a receipt number without the referred person’s contact details. Temporary technical identifiers help limit duplicate submissions and abuse. Referral records are not publicly searchable. Contact us to request correction or deletion, subject to recordkeeping needs described below.

Optional Facebook content

The Social page offers a Facebook Page Plugin only when an official Page is configured. It does not request Facebook content until you choose to load it. Loading connects your browser to Meta/Facebook, which may set or read cookies and receive connection information such as your IP address and browser details. Meta controls that content and its data practices. You can use the site without loading the plugin, or follow a direct link to Facebook. Removing the embed stops displaying it but does not undo information already sent.

Planning tools and project checklist

The project-preparation checklist keeps checks in page memory only; reloading clears them. Checklist answers are not submitted or included in analytics. Labs inputs also stay on the page unless you explicitly carry a planning summary into an inquiry. That summary uses tab-scoped browser storage with a 30-minute expiry and is sent only when you submit the inquiry. Automation summaries exclude task names, labor rates and raw financial inputs. Analytics records limited tool, checklist and social actions without entered answers or contact details.

Technical information

Hosting and security providers may process IP addresses, browser and device details, referring pages, request times, and technical logs to deliver the site and prevent abuse. Watkins Digital uses Google Analytics to understand website usage and improve the site. Analytics measures page visits and successful project inquiries; we do not send the personal information entered in the inquiry form to Google Analytics.

How information is used

Providers and sharing

Watkins Digital does not intentionally sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technology to measure website usage. Advertising personalization and Google signals are disabled in our Google tag. The hosting or sign-in service may use cookies or similar technology to operate the site and manage access. Those services have their own privacy information.

Browser settings may allow you to manage cookies; blocking essential cookies may affect access.

Retention and your requests

Information should be retained only as long as reasonably needed for the inquiry, project, recordkeeping, security, or applicable legal requirements. Retention may vary by the type of information and the service processing it.

Watkins Digital aims to use reasonable measures appropriate to the information handled. No website, transmission method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Links to other websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. Watkins Digital does not control those sites.
